Aspen Microneedling & Dermaplaning Facial

In my experience as an esthetician in Aspen, I’ve come to notice something. When guests come to Heaven on Earth, they seem to have a basic understanding of what they want – maybe they want to be pampered with a massage, or maybe just sit back and enjoy a facial.

First, let’s talk about microneedling.

No, don’t be scared!

Microneedling is actually not as scary as you think and it helps your skin produce collagen. I’m sure you’ve heard of collagen before – it’s in all the television commercials for skincare products. But if you’re considering microneedling in Aspen, I know you’ll want to know a bit more.

So, what’s so great about dermaplaning? Well, you’ll have to see it to believe it. When you come in for your dermaplaning facial, I’ll use a tiny esthetician’s scalpel to gently graze the very top layer of your skin.

I added this service to my menu because it carries so many benefits! The most immediate difference my guests notice is that there’s no more “peach fuzz” on their face. That, on its own, can make your face look brighter and more luminous.

I’m also offerering dermaplaning in Aspen because of its long-term benefits. Dermaplaning immediately gets rid of the dead skin cells on the surface of your face that cause your skin to look dull. Guests also notice that, with subsequent facials, they’re less likely to experience acne and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is diminished. As an added benefit, your skincare product is more readily absorbed into your skin, allowing your lotions and sunscreens to be more effective.

I mentioned that I encourage my guests to schedule a dermaplaning facial two weeks after their microneedling treatment. That’s because dermaplaning can help to exfoliate any “leftover” skin that resulted from the microneedling. Caring for Your Skin After Your Service

Guests who enjoy microneedling and dermaplaning services will notice that their skin feels a bit tight and “sunburned” after treatments. I make sure you’re taken care of!

When you come in for a microneedling treatment, it’s recommended to apply sunscreen immediately after. I’ll send you home with a sun hat to protect your beautiful skin, and we can discuss products that work with your skin to give you the results you’re looking for before you leave.

Your dermaplaning facial may leave your skin slightly red. But that doesn’t mean you have to hide! Before you leave, I’ll apply a product called Suntegrity Impeccable Skin. This product is slightly tinted to match your natural skin shade, and will allow you to go out and about without any self-consciousness.
